Onyx Academy is the next step within our junior programme and is designed for children we’ve identified as showing talent, potential, and a clear interest in developing their climbing performance.

 

It acts as a stepping stone towards possible progression into Team Onyx, with weekly sessions that are slightly longer and more focused than our standard clubs, and are coached by our most experienced youth coaches.

 

Entry into the Academy is by personal invitation, and each stage of our pathway has clear requirements around grade, ability, and commitment. For climbers transferring from other centres who would like to trial for our Academy or Team, please get in touch via email (hello@onyxclimbing.co.uk) and we’ll be happy to advise further.
