​If are already a registered climber at Onyx aged 18+, and you want to bring a child, then you can sign them in as a guest. This means you will be responsible for looking after them, showing them how it all works and ensuring their safety at all times. ​Each registered climber at Onyx can sign in a maximum of 2 guests.

Becoming a Supervisor with no experience

Adults aged 18+ can become a supervisor with no climbing experience by:

​

1. Taking part in a Taster Session with your child. This allows you to either register to climb or register as a 'Supervisor Only' if you are not interested in climbing.

​

2. Completing a 'Supevisor Only' session without your child present. 

​

A taster session will give children the opportunity to see if they enjoy climbing, perhaps before going on to join a club. It is an instructor led session suitable for all the family.

Duration: 45 minutes 

Info: Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your session start time to complete the necessary forms.

Must be accompanied by a parent/guardian even if not participating.

We run regular climbing clubs split by age. All children must complete a 2 week induction before joining.
