In this 90-minute workshop, you'll focus on mastering body positioning techniques that are crucial for improving balance, control, and efficiency on the wall. Led by one of our expert coaches, this session will cover: Hip Positioning: Learn how to keep your hips close to the wall for optimal balance and how to utilize twisting and stepping-through techniques on overhanging terrain. Centre of Gravity: Discover how to keep your weight centred over your feet to move more fluidly and conserve energy. Opposition and Counterpressure: Master the use of opposing forces to stay balanced, including essential flagging techniques for better positioning on the wall. Weight Transfer: Understand how to effectively transfer your weight using rockover techniques, giving you greater control and smoother movement. This workshop is perfect for climbers looking to refine their technique and climb more efficiently by mastering the art of body positioning. Ideal for all experience levels, you'll leave with a deeper understanding of how to use your body to its fullest potential on a variety of terrains.
